For example, if you like to explore the wilderness, head to Stanley Park, an internationally recognised green space that takes up 400 hectares of beautiful West Coast rainforest. Here you can enjoy beach relaxation or get active with biking or hiking excursion.
Vancouver is also well-known for its dining and nightlife scene, which is perfectly hip and laid-back. Some of the most popular districts in town to grab a bite to eat or dance the night away are Gastown and Granville Street.
Families are also very popular in Vancouver, and there are many things you can do with the kids. Some attractions include the Kids Market on Granville Island, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Greater Vancouver Zoo and the Grouse Mountain Skyride. Playland is an excellent amusement park in town with more than 35 rides that are perfect for families.
